Axor brings a designer-led approach to the shower that few brands can match. Available at Plumbtile, the Axor shower head collection spans rain heads, hand showers, body sprays, and shower arms — each developed in collaboration with architects and industrial designers to translate high-concept aesthetics into daily use. Whether you are drawn to geometric precision or organic form, Axor offers a shower experience that is as considered in its engineering as it is in its appearance.
Why Axor
Axor is the design brand within the Hansgrohe Group, a manufacturer with over a century of expertise in water technology. What distinguishes Axor is its ongoing collaboration with internationally recognized designers — including Philippe Starck, Patricia Urquiola, and Jean-Marie Massaud — who each bring a distinct creative vision to the shower head format. The result is a portfolio where form and function are developed simultaneously rather than as an afterthought, and where every component, from the spray face to the shower arm, reflects a coherent design language.
What to Look For
When selecting an axor shower head from the Plumbtile collection, start with the product line. The Axor ShowerSolutions range includes large-format rain heads designed for ceiling or wall mounting, with spray faces that distribute water evenly across a wide surface area. The Axor Starck and Axor Citterio lines offer hand showers with ergonomic grips and multiple spray modes, suited to both standalone use and combination shower systems. Body sprays from Axor are engineered for precise directional coverage and integrate cleanly into tiled walls. Finish selection is equally important — Axor offers an extensive palette including matte black, brushed gold, polished chrome, and several PVD-coated options that resist tarnishing over time. For a complete installation, pairing your axor shower head with a compatible Axor shower arm ensures consistent proportions and a unified aesthetic throughout the enclosure.
